Camp - Marahau, Abel Tasman

In week 7 of last term Rooms 9 and 10 went on a four day camp to Marahau.We came to school early in the morning, we packed our bags in the trailers. Finally that was all done and finished and we started going in our cars over to Marahau. It was exciting! Now the exciting part came where we arrived. We stepped onto the lovely green grass and said "Wow! We're here!"

We'd arrived in Marahau so we ran off to find our bags. After this we were either in group two or group two. Group two pitched their tents meanwhile group one took their bags into the dormitories.

We then had a bit of free time and played with some of the equipment. There were a couple of games going on like cricket and soccer. Over the days we got into loads of great stuff like kayaking , abseiling , sports, we went on a 4 hour walk and one of the most fun things was going on the AqauTaxi's. But from a lot of peoples point-of-veiw the concert was the best by far. The acts were very different there was singing dancing and people playing instruments.

The end of the camp came all to suddenly and we were thrown back into the reality of normal school.
